Thanks Greg Deakins for the fun photo shoot. My girls are pretty little things.
Darcy's colic is still there. The dr. says I only have about a month or so until it's gone! I'm hanging in there. Darcy still is a sweet sweet baby and sleeps really well. Zoey is as vibrant as ever. Hardly any naps and lots of screaming. Age two is an adventure.

Miss darcy is growing fast (really she's huge. I must make cream). She is a bit colicky. It seems to be getting better though. When she isn't crying she is the sweetest little thing. Her blue eyes and light skin look nothing like me, hyrum, or zoey. She sure is pretty though. We love her. Zoey loves her (but now won't let her watch tv with her). Hyrum started a new job as an accountant, we are healthy, life is good.

Hyrum continues to be the best dad ever. Last week when it actually snowed, hyrum took zoey to play in the snow at 9 pm. She loved it. There is nothing better than seeing hyrum play with our girls.

cheers to being a mom

Being a mom of two is harder than I had imagined. My mom tells me that at about three months it feels easier; I'm holding onto that hope. The other day zoey told me she "wants darcy to go back in mommy's tummy." I hope it gets easier for zoey too. I'll let you know how we are in two months.

Hyrum is gone this week installing. He's been gone only 24 hours and I can't figure out how to do this without him. He helps me with everything. I'm so lucky to have him.

For now I will be taking mothering a day at a time and being grateful for my beautiful family.

Christmas

This is the one and only picture I have from Christmas day. And I didn't even take it, Hyrum did. Probably due to the fact that she was in a bad mood when she woke up and told me to "take the presents back to the store" -exact quote. Apparently she does not believe in Santa.

Although she wouldn't put a sweater or tights on for church on that chilly morning, she came home ready to play with new toys. She got a powerwheels which she rides forward and backwards in our living room. So cute. I had light contractions all Christmas day, but I'm glad I didn't go into labor. Christmas is my favorite and I'm sad It's over, but glad we have baby Darcy now.

Mommy smells

This cute girl and her daddy have the flu. I have been covered in throw up all day and I'm on my 4th load of throw up laundry.

And you know what, I couldn't be happier to take care of my family. Now that is true motherhood at its finest. (Really hoping I don't get it though)

They grow up too fast

I want to cuddle her in my bed for the rest of my life. Some people say co sleeping is unhealthy. I think it's wonderful. She doesn't sleep with us all the time, but when she does I love it. She will only be this little once.

We had a fun halloween taking zoey trick or treating with her friend pax. She got a lot of candy which is now hidden on a shelf.

I really love her

 (and him)

I love this little girl. Shes not a princess, but a diva. She doesn't look as much like her mommy, but more like her dad. She loves spicy cheetos, but not bananas. How am I going to love another little girl this much in a few months time? I've heard my heart will grow.
No good pregnancy pictures to post yet. My boobies and bum have grown two sizes (or so I feel). I never had many cravings until now; cookies and semi sweet chocolate chips and mint chocolate chip icecream and sherbet with sprite and everything else that will aid in a mandatory crash diet when this baby comes. Maybe thats why I feel two sizes bigger.

This little girl loves her daddy

Daddy takes her long boarding, lets her play in the sink, and lets her touch spiders. All she wants now is her dad. She only lets daddy change her diapers, push her in the stroller, give her baths, get her dressed, shut the blinds...etc, etc, etc. I need baby number two to come quick so I have someone to take care of.
